Can you tell us about yourself? Why did you choose to focus on health and wellness coaching?

Well, I’m Anastasia Vasina, a medical doctor with over 14 years of experience, now dedicated to supporting and empowering women through health and wellness coaching.

I chose a career in medicine to help people improve their health and overall quality of life. Coaching became another powerful way to fulfill this mission. My goal is to empower people—especially women—to make informed health decisions and take better care of themselves.

How does your background shape your coaching approach?

With over 14 years of medical experience, including serving as a doctor and board member of the European Society of Predictive and Preventive Medicine, I’ve developed a deep understanding of health and wellness.

One habit I picked up in medical university is double-checking everything before confidently sharing advice. This ensures my recommendations are evidence-based and genuinely beneficial. I also make them as personalized and easy to implement as possible.

Many wellness trends circulate on the market and social media. Which ones for women do you support, and which would you caution against or “cancel”?

I fully support trends like personalized health solutions, wearable technology, and AI tools—even though they’re not perfect, they make personal health management more effective, affordable, and accessible.

What I caution against is blindly following any recommendations like, “This one thing will solve everything.” Unfortunately, there’s no silver bullet in health.

Are health plans (exercise, diet, etc.) only effective for women with chronic conditions, or can they also benefit healthy individuals looking to optimize their well-being?

Absolutely, healthy individuals benefit just as much! A major part of my work focuses on preventing diseases before they develop. Personalized health plans don’t just manage chronic conditions—they help busy individuals maintain energy, focus, and overall well-being through a structured, proactive approach.

You also specialize in anti-aging coaching. What are three daily habits every woman should incorporate for healthy aging and longevity?

I won’t be original here: sufficient sleep (7-8 hours), regular exercise, and a balanced diet that meets metabolic needs. We’re all looking for a magic pill, but in reality, healthy routines are far more effective.

For example, I once worked with a client struggling with persistently low iron levels. She experienced chronic fatigue, hair loss, and other frustrating symptoms, but nothing seemed to help. Instead of turning to iron supplements right away, we focused on energy therapy and a tailored nutrition plan to improve her energy metabolism. By addressing her body's ability to efficiently absorb and utilize nutrients, we created the right conditions for her iron levels to naturally restore—without excess supplementation.

What are three essential wellness practices or values we should teach our daughters to help them grow into healthy women?

  1. Self-value: Health is deeply connected to self-love and how we care for ourselves.
  2. Consistency & discipline: Small daily habits build up over time to create great lasting results.
  3. Body awareness: Girls should learn to recognize hunger, fatigue, stress, and emotions, understand their menstrual health, and energy levels, and how different foods, activities, and environments affect them.

Any wellness devices, apps, or tools you recommend for women’s health?
